Weddings - Civil Ceremonies and Receptions
Hilton House Hotel inbetween Burton and Derby was licensed in May 2009 and has already held a number of civil wedding ceremonies. The hotel is also popular just as a wedding reception venue. We can comfortably seat 120 guests for a wedding breakfast with the capacity for 150 evening guests.
There are wedding venues who will not or can't and and there are wedding venues that can. Hilton House Hotel is one of those wedding venues that can....offer you the day you want the way you want it.
There are no wedding packages, just a set price for your meal and you choose the menu. Other venues insist on a drinks package as well, we believe you should have what "you" want. We are a venue that can, not one of those venues that wont.
The perfect sized wedding at Hilton House Hotel on the Derbyshire and Staffordshire border would be a ceremony infront of 50 guests (though we can seat 120) in the Cedar Suite followed by photographs in our grounds with the backdrop of our incredible Cedar Tree ready for the receiving line so your guests can congratulate you in turn before sitting down to your wedding breakfast.
Once your toasts and speeches are complete adjourn into the garden or lounge whilst the function room is prepared for your evening wedding reception party.
Our resident DJ will introduce your first dance to start the evening celebrations complemented by a buffet for your extended guest list.
Your wedding and or reception held at Hilton House Hotel, Derby will be supervised by owner and Master of Ceremonies for the day, Zoe Clark. Zoe will meet with you possibly a year or more before your big day to show of the hotel facilities and will during the various planning meetings capture your requirements and agree menu choices and timings for arrival and eventual first dance.
A wedding and reception held at Hilton House Hotel near Burton and Derby is unique each time because it is your wedding and Zoe and her staff will do everything in their capabilities to give you the day you want. From Bacon Cobs to Bucks Fizz and canapés upon arrival to Pimms or Champagne toasting drinks, as we will often say "Its your day".
Hilton House Hotel welcomes brides and grooms from all religions and are happy to host same sex civil partnerships as well, so there is no reason not to find out more.
